Save The Green School 7-1-09 Update

Mr. Lincoln Andrews has been keeping me informed to the status of the Save the Green School efforts and here is some of the latest information:

• The citizens working to save the school have received quotes for the work to stabilize the school during the clean up of the heating oil contamination.
• A local attorney is providing legal advice for the project.
• Rich Young will be assisting with his expertise on grant writing.
• The Historic Commission is involved with the project.

As Mr. Andrews said in his email. The project is looking very positive and he will most likely be seeking additional pledges and contributions in the not to distant future.

After the holiday, I will try to sit down with Mr. Andrews and others for an in depth Q & A.
